I have been practicing Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation for ten years, and have been teaching Tai Chi for South Cheshire College and Macclesfield College for seven years. I am married to Claire, and have a daughter, called Jenna. I am also a business advisor for a national financial institution.

I was introduced to Tai Chi by a friend, who showed me some moves he had been learning. I then searched for a local class, and found Master Liming Yue. Before long, I was travelling to China to study in Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei’s first international training course. After picking up trophies at the Euro-wirral british open kungfu tournament, I gained my instructor’s qualification at Zhau zhuo, assessed by Master Zhang Dongwu.

I have trained two British Open Kung Fu champions.

As well as my Tai Chi qualifications, I have Central Council for Physical Recreation’s Community Sports Leader’s Award, City & Guilds in Recreation & Leisure parts I & II, British Red Cross Public First Aid. I also have a proven track record in the provision of leisure activities within public and private sectors of the Sports & Leisure industry.

I am a member of the Monroe Institute, and am dedicated to the exploration of human consciousness, and it’s affects on our spiritual, physical and mental development.
